The Residential Energy Efficiency Scheme (REES)

If you are looking to reduce your energy bills and water consumption and live in the city metropolitan area* then under under REES you are eligible for

A.  FREE exchange of up to 8 working incandescent light globes with up to 8 energy efficient light globes** (Compact Fluorescent light globes, see pictures).

B. FREE exchange of up to 2 inefficient showerheads with water efficient showerheads***. Also available are handheld showerheads to replace your existing hand held showerhead.

C. FREE installation carried out by AGL approved installer.  AGL approved installers are available in all of Adelaide’s metropolitan areas.

Conditions:

* Bookings essential and we also have installers who are available after hours and on weekends. The AGL approved installer  installs all new products, and return all old globes and showerheads to an approved collection point for recycling.

** Only standard bayonet and Edison screw fitting lights are replaced with compact fluorescent lights (CFL).

*** Showerheads are tested and are only replaced if their flow rate exceeds 9 liters a minute.
AGL is providing these services for a limited time in 2011 as part of the Residential Energy Efficiency Scheme (REES) under the Electricity Act 1996 and Gas Act 1997.  You do not have to be an AGL client to be eligible for the services under REES.
